  1. Currently, Google doesn’t offer a direct, built-in feature to add a clickable WhatsApp button within your GMB profile. However, you can achieve a similar result by strategically utilizing the available features:

  • Within your GMB dashboard, navigate to the “Info” section.
  • Edit your business description to include your WhatsApp number .
  1. Use the “Website” or “Appointment URL” Fields:

  • While these fields are intended for websites and appointment scheduling, you can leverage them to create a clickable WhatsApp link.
  • Create a Whatsapp link using the following format: https://wa.me/[YourWhatsAppNumber]  
  • Replace [YourWhatsAppNumber] with your full international phone number (without the + sign, and without dashes or spaces).
  • For example: https://wa.me/1XXXXXXXXXX
  • Add this link to the website or appointment url section of your GMB profile.
